Sydney Tragedy

The team at SBA is deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of life in the Bondi Junction attack.

Truly this does not happen Down Under, so when something so horrifying unfolds it is all the more shocking.

We cannot even begin to imagine the trauma of all the families who has lost loved ones in this horrific incident.

The bravery of NSW Police Inspector Amy Scott who ended this horrific attack through her courageous action shines like a bright light at this dark moment.
We need to talk about mental health. The killer Joel Cauchi has suffered from a diagnosed mental heath condition from the age of 17.

Queensland and NSW Police has said Cauchi had been itinerant for the past several years and lived in the Brisbane suburbs of Kangaroo Point and Carina, as well as the home of his parents, before moving to NSW.

Despite significant investments in mental health, chronic patients, some of whom can cause harm to themselves and others continue to slip through the cracks.

Between hospitals, medication compliance, community care, the system is failing many. The worst outcomes of this failure is the horrific event at Bondi Junction.

Our sincere condolences to all the families who have lost loved ones and wishing speedy recovery for all including the baby who has lost mum.

To all our clients in Sydney, hope your team members are all ok and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
