Turn trusted introductions into ongoing rewards

Introduce a business to SBA. When your referral becomes a client and pays its first invoice, you receive a $250 success reward plus an ongoing share of eligible revenue for up to 24 months.

All percentage-based referral fees are calculated only on invoices for services rendered that have been paid by the client and received by SBA. No referral fee is payable on unpaid invoices.

The more successful clients you refer within six months, the higher the revenue-share rate on later referrals.

A simple introduction can create lasting value

Many businesses need reliable legal support, document production, marketing assistance, IT services or outsourced business support, but they may not know where to begin. By introducing them to Strategic Business Alliance, you can help them access practical support while earning meaningful rewards.

There is only one referrer category. You do not need to sell SBA services, prepare a proposal or negotiate with the prospect. Make a warm introduction with the prospect's permission and our team will manage the conversation, scoping and onboarding.

How the SBA Partner Network works

1. Join Register as an SBA referrer. Registration is free.
2. Introduce Submit a referral or make a warm email introduction with the prospect's permission.
3. We follow up SBA arranges a discovery conversation, identifies the need and prepares a suitable proposal.
4. You are rewarded When the referred client signs up and pays its first invoice, you receive the $250 success reward and the applicable revenue share on eligible invoices paid to SBA.

What you can earn

Every successful referral starts with the same immediate reward. Higher revenue-share rates are then unlocked when multiple referred clients sign up within a six-month period.

First successful referral Client 1 5% of eligible paid invoice revenue for 24 months $250 after the client signs up and pays its first invoice
Three successful referrals within six months Clients 2 and 3 10% of eligible paid invoice revenue for 24 months on each client $250 for each qualifying client
Five successful referrals within six months Clients 4 and 5 15% of eligible paid invoice revenue for 24 months on each client $250 for each qualifying client, plus a $1,000 milestone bonus

Important: The six-month period begins when the first referred client becomes an eligible client, unless the final program terms specify another method. Percentage-based referral fees are calculated only on eligible invoices for services rendered that have been paid by the client and received by SBA. No referral fee is payable on unpaid invoices. If an unpaid invoice is later paid during the applicable 24-month referral period, the relevant referral fee may then become payable, subject to the program terms. Revenue share excludes GST, credits, refunds, disbursements and third-party costs. All rewards remain subject to the SBA Partner Network Terms.

Worked example: five successful referrals in six months

Assume five referred clients each purchase an SBA service plan of $950 plus GST for 50 hours use of team SBA per month and remain active for the full 24-month revenue-share period. This includes the payment every monthly invoice in full, the figures below exclude GST.

1 5% $47.50 $1,140 $250
2 10% $95.00 $2,280 $250
3 10% $95.00 $2,280 $250
4 15% $142.50 $3,420 $250
5 15% $142.50 $3,420 $250
Total revenue share over 24 months $12,540
Five $250 rewards + $1,000 bonus $2,250

Total potential rewards: $14,790 over 24 months

Once all five clients are active and their invoices are paid, the combined monthly revenue share would be $522.50. Actual earnings depend on client billings, invoice payment, eligibility and how long each client remains active. No revenue share is payable for any invoice that remains unpaid.

Who should you refer?

A good SBA referral is a business, law firm or not-for-profit organisation that needs dependable additional capability without immediately expanding its permanent internal team. Suitable introductions may include organisations looking for:

  • Legal process and litigation support.
  • Document production and Word formatting support.
  • Business process outsourcing and administrative support.
  • Accounts payable and finance-process support.
  • IT helpdesk, Microsoft 365, cyber security or cyber awareness support.
  • Flexible offshore or outsourced resourcing.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything to join?

No. There is no registration fee to join the SBA Partner Network.

When does a referral qualify?

A referral generally qualifies when it is new to SBA, is submitted through an approved channel, signs an eligible client agreement and pays its first invoice.

When does the six-month period begin?

The recommended approach is for the six-month period to begin when the first referred client becomes an eligible client.

How do the higher rates work?

Client 1 receives a 5% revenue-share rate. If three successful referrals are achieved within six months, Clients 2 and 3 receive a 10% rate. If five are achieved within the same six-month period, Clients 4 and 5 receive a 15% rate. Rates are not applied retrospectively to earlier clients.

How long is revenue share paid?

The applicable revenue share is paid for up to 24 months for each eligible client, provided the client remains active and SBA receives payment of eligible invoices for services rendered.

Are referral fees payable on unpaid invoices?

No. Percentage-based referral fees are payable only on eligible invoices for services rendered that have been paid by the client and received by SBA. No referral fee is payable while an invoice remains unpaid. If the invoice is later paid during the applicable 24-month referral period, the referral fee may then become payable, subject to the program terms.

When will I receive the $1,000 bonus?

The $1,000 bonus becomes payable after the fifth qualifying client has signed up and paid its first invoice, subject to the program terms and SBA payment cycle.

Is commission calculated on GST?

No. Revenue share is calculated on eligible paid invoice revenue excluding GST and may also exclude credits, refunds, disbursements, third-party costs and other items identified in the terms.

What if SBA already knows the prospect?

Existing clients, active opportunities, previously recorded leads and duplicate referrals generally do not qualify. SBA will confirm eligibility after receiving the referral.

Do I need the prospect's permission?

Yes. Please obtain permission before sharing personal contact details or making an introduction.

Can existing SBA clients participate?

Yes. Existing SBA clients may participate, subject to the same referral eligibility requirements.

Will I receive updates?

SBA will acknowledge the referral and provide appropriate status updates, subject to privacy and commercial confidentiality.
