Pre-Pujo Gathering at Novotel, Kolkata – 13th September 2025

As autumn approached and the air began filling with the spirit of festivity, our SBA family came together for a Pre-Pujo Gathering like no other. On 13th September, the halls of Novotel, Kolkata were filled with warmth, laughter and togetherness as we celebrated not just the season, but the people who make SBA what it is.

The lunch began with a heartfelt welcome by our CEO, Mr. Partha Nag, and his wife, Sara, who greeted every member and their families with genuine smiles. Their personal gesture of walking up to each one of us, striking conversations, and meeting our families made the day all the more special. It was humbling and heartening to see our leader take the time to make every single person feel valued.

For all of us, this was more than a gathering – it was the rare joy of meeting colleagues beyond screens, sharing stories with their loved ones, and truly feeling part of one big family. The camaraderie was effortless, with conversations flowing as easily as the laughter of our children who ran around gleefully.

And then came the feast. Novotel lived up to its reputation of class and elegance, treating us to a buffet that was nothing short of spectacular. From delicious starters and lip-smacking chaats to an impressive spread of Indian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern delicacies, there was something for everyone. The dessert counter stole the show – a paradise that left us all with sweet smiles and full hearts. Truly, no one left with an empty stomach or an unhappy heart.

The day was made even brighter for the children, as Mr. Nag delighted them with chocolates, almost like a Secret Santa moment in September. Their giggles and joy added to the festive mood. A special highlight was the lucky draw, where kids pulled out names, and winners walked away with exciting cash prizes – a moment that blended fun, thrill and togetherness perfectly.

Though our outstation team members could not be with us in person, they were fondly remembered throughout the day. Their names were called out during the lucky draw, and their presence was felt in every conversation. That thoughtful inclusion reflected the spirit of SBA – nobody is ever left behind.

As the afternoon drew to a close, our hearts were full – of food, of joy, of belonging. Walking away from the warmth of the evening was bittersweet. We left with heavy tummies, happy memories, and heavy hearts, knowing we had experienced a day that will be remembered long after the Pujo lights fade.
