Our precedent team lead Mandeep was enjoying a nice cuppa on Saturday morning after a hectic week of tackling assignments and a teenage son sitting exams.

The morning sojourn was broken by a frantic whatsapp message from our Precedent and Coding team Manager Bitoo on a job from a long-standing client in South Australia who was seeking some urgent help with a precedent task.

The task involved recreating a 92-page document which had gone haywire in formatting and styling and had hara-kiri done to it by multiple parties trying to add data to the document.

The firm needed the document copy typed, formatting and presented in the firm’s style guide and all clause references automated across the document.

The Solution

The firm needed the document back by Sunday morning. Team Leader Mandeep jumped on the assignment and worked through the entire Saturday to pull it up within the required deadline completed by late Saturday evening.
