Amarjit Sen

Assistant Manager - Conveyancing and Data Entry

Amarjit is the head of operations for all our teams in India. He has been part of SBA’s team since day 1, joining the team as a Senior Legal Associate. Over the 11 years Amarjit has been part of SBA, he’s seen it all – he’s an essential part of the team and mentor! If knowing who’s doing your work is important to you, we’ll get along great because it’s important to us, too.

Amarjit is an accomplished lawyer with 12-plus years of experience. Fresh from uni and with a law degree, Amarjit started at a leading law firm in Kolkata, then worked through several appointments in Kolkata ranging from lower up to the High Court of Kolkata.

Relocating to the UK to pursue his Master of Law, he worked as a Junior legal counsel at British Telecom, stationed at both the head office in London and India, Gurgaon. He has also completed a Diploma in E-Commerce & Intellectual Property Law from WIPO, Geneva, Switzerland.

Amarjit worked with a US LPO provider in their Hyderabad office and at SBA since its inception in 2010, starting as a Senior Legal Associate. His experience has encompassed the US, UK and Australian legal systems.

Amarjit has been with Senior Legal Associate. He is now our Head of Operations at SBA in Kolkata.

Day to day, Amarjit aims to ensure smooth operations of all SBA teams based in Kolkata. He also heads up pilot projects ensuring success through experience-based understanding. He understands that being client-focused is critical - providing an open dialogue and feedback loop to keep SBA exceeding our client’s expectations.

Manager - Process & Quality & Precedent

With a clear, logical and practical approach to problem-solving, Bitoo is driven by positive outcomes for our clients.

Bitoo is a highly competent Precedent and IT professional with a proven track record in coding, precedents, automation and data analytics – providing valuable insight into each of our client’s innovation journeys.

His strong technical background and experience in interacting with SBA clients and more than ten years of managing teams make him crucial in your next big project!

Since joining SBA in 2012, Bitoo has progressed from Senior Associate to Team Leader and then Process Manager. As Process Manager, his role is varied, training team members and liaising with new and existing clients on the plan or management of their project.

He understands that being client-focused is vital – ensuring an open dialogue and feedback loop to keep SBA exceeding our client’s expectations.

Sunita Dutta

Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts

Sunita joined SBA way back in 2011. She has extensive experience dealing with clients based in Australia. She understands and often anticipates client needs, applying her skills and expertise to streamline client processes and management of the accounts team. For over ten years, Sunita has managed multiple clients' accounting processes.

Sunita is a qualified Cost Accountant with an MBA (specialisation in finance). After she completed her study, she started as a management trainee at West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Limited (WBSEDCL), working for two years in their treasury department before joining SBA in 2011. During her busy day, Sunita oversees our Accounts team and works directly with our clients, ensuring the best experience.

Avishek Roy

Assistant Manager - Conveyancing and Data Entry

Avishek, or ‘Avi’, joined SBA in 2013 as a Junior Legal Associate, where he assisted the legal team with a wide range of client matters and work areas. He has since worked his way up to the Management team.

Day to day, Avi handles everything from matter openings to searches. Document production, post settlement letters. He specialises in working with in-house conveyancing teams. Avi has also worked on matter openings for various firms, conflict checks, and VOI-related processes.

Avi studied Law at Uni of Burdwan; after completing his law degree, he practised for two years at the District Court under a Senior Advocate focusing on Criminal and Civil Law. He’s since become a key member of the SBA management team!
